At Lamar Graphics, ideas rule. Our People use imagination, communication, and teamwork to make continual improvements to our products, working directly with our best source of information, our customers. Please read our "Success Stories" below to see what has become of suggestions made by customers in the past. Click the "Suggestion Box" to give us your ideas.

1. When a customer pointed out that although we had a job number on every box, it was still sometimes hard to identify the order once it was at the plant, we began to include a photocopy of the proof on the outside of every box, along with a detailed description of the contents.  No more I.D. problems.

2. When the construction of our bulletin structures changed to its current brown paneling design, and in direct response to plant requests, “bleed to bottom” became our new standard, allowing the bottom edge of the vinyl to be pulled straight down.  No more “white lines”.

3. Some Operations Managers called to report that during installation, the vertical gripper bars were dropping straight through the pockets and onto the ground.  In response, we put “hospital corners” on the bottom pockets, and printed an arrow and a “cut here” line on the pocket to identify the correct area to cut the pocket to allow access to the gripper bar without it dropping through.  No more spears.

4. When plants reported our self-adhesive vinyl was not performing well during installation, instead of just changing suppliers and starting over, we went the extra mile and had our vinyl manufacturer custom formulate a new adhesive giving the characteristics our plants needed.  No more flagging.

These are just a few of the changes we’ve made to our products with your help and input.  And although most of our improvements involve small incremental changes, cumulatively, they make a huge impact on our product quality and your satisfaction.

So keep calling – we’re listening!
