Resolution

Resolution SampleLamar Graphics basically prints at 3 resolutions depending on the product. Each resolution is important to each product’s workflow. Resolution and pixel size must be accurate to ensure proper handling and finishing of each order.

Hi-Res (Long View Products) 9ppi

Hi-Res products are set up using 9 pixels = 1 inch @ 300ppi Document Resolution. Disregard the Document Size, since it is scaled down to 9 pixels per inch, it will appear much smaller than the final product.

(Ex: 1 foot x 2 foot product would be 108 pixels x 216 pixels @ 300ppi.)

Ultra Hi-Res (Short View Products) 36ppi

Ultra Hi-Res products are set up using 36 pixels = 1 inch @ 36ppi Document Resolution. Each template should be set up to size @ 36 ppi in the document size. This product is set up at a 1 to 1 scale, so Document Size will be accurate.

(Ex: 1 foot x 2 foot product would be 432 pixels x 864 pixels @ 36ppi.)

Ultra Hi-Res Banners 72ppi

Banner products are set up using 72 pixels = 1 inch @ 72ppi Document Resolution. Each template should be set up to size @ 72 ppi in the document size. This product is set up at a 1 to 1 scale, so Document Size will be accurate.

(Ex: 1 foot x 2 foot product would be 864 pixels x 1728 pixels @ 72ppi.)

Poster Flex & FlexiLite (Light Weight Product Line) 18ppi

The Light Weight products are set up using 18 pixels = 1 inch @ 216ppi Document Resolution. Each template is set up at 18 pixels = 1 inch @ 216ppi. The Document Size will be equal to 1 inch = 1 foot scale.

(Ex: 1 foot x 2 foot product would be 216 pixels x 432 pixels @ 216ppi.)
