The Prepress Department is responsible for receiving and processing all customer artwork in preparation for final production.  Each order is logged, processed, proofed, sent to print and eventually archived for future reference.  Prepress contains three sub-departments: Preflight, Proofing, and Print Set-Up.              

Preflight
In Preflight, art is typically received electronically or via air courier.  All files are virus-scanned, then checked to verify the presence of all necessary elements.      

Proofing
Here, all customer files and artwork are converted into formats compatible with the final production output device. Files are checked for color and large format digital integrity. Quality and consistency is guaranteed by our custom color profiles and palettes and exclusive use of Fuji pictroproof proofers.    

Print Set-Up
This is the final checkpoint before the file is printed.  Any necessary color corrections are made, and all specifications and special instructions are verified.
