When using a template to prepare a
job, most sizes you select will be slightly larger.
This oversize represents the bleed area and must not be
deleted. The live area will
be marked on the template by constraining guidelines. Be sure to include either enough background or image for the
bleed area. To assist you
in file accuracy, we have provided templates that are appropriately
scaled and include a bleed area. If
a template is not offered in your job size, please contact Jay Boe and
we will send you one promptly. Image
Area - The
copy area of the board which is also known as the actual viewing area. Bleed
- The printed area outside the live image area.
Standard bleeds are: 3” on all sides. Marginal
Pockets – The white area that outside the bleed area to the edge
of the vinyl material. Standard
marginal pockets are: 3” on all edges. Mechanical
Pockets - The actual
size of the opening on the back of the vinyl used for holding the
installation rods. Specify any nonstandard bleeds and/or pockets when placing your order. |
