This method is used to convert pixel measurements in a Photoshop Template to the real world measurements on the actual billboard structure.
Step 1. Choose the Product Type.
Step 2. Choose Pixels to Feet / Inches as the Conversion
Method.
Step 3. Enter the Height and Width in the appropriate
fields in the units displayed in the Conversion Method.

This method is used to create a template in any graphic software. If you need a 14'x48' template, enter those dimensions into the Board Size Height & Width. Then enter the necessary bleed for the product to be ordered. The results will be displayed in Pixels and Document Size. These measurements can be used in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, etc. to create a properly scaled Lamar Graphics template.

Step 4. Enter the required Bleed on all sides. Refer
to the Bleed Section to obtain this number.

Document Size is referencing the scaled measurements found in your graphics software. These are the dimensions displayed in inches in a template file. This method of the calculator converts those scaled measurements to actual real world measurments. This method can be used for those not comfortable working with pixels.

the Conversion Method.
Step 3. Enter the Height and Width in the appropriate
fields in the units displayed in the Conversion Method.

The Template Calculator can be set up to calculate templates for any product for any vendor. This is done by providing the Document Resolution or the PPI setting of the digital template file (ex: 72ppi, 300ppi, 600ppi, 720ppi, etc.) and the Output Print Resolution (ex: 9ppi, 36ppi, 56ppi, 100ppi, etc.) Contact your vendor for their Output Print Resolution in PIXELS. DPI (Dots Per Inch) is not the same as PPI (Pixels Per Inch). The actual number of pixels printed per linear inch is what's needed.
